The Historic Carousel is closed during weekdays, open weekends, October 1 - April 30. Open daily May 1 - September 30.
Zoomazium is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Oct. 1 - Apr. 30) and 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (May 1 - Sept. 30).
Butterflies & Blooms will NOT be re-opening for summer 2009.
** The North Entrance (N. 59th and Evanston) is closed from October 1 to April 30. |

Disability admission, access and rentals

is a $2.00 discount from regular admission prices for persons
with disabilities and

Fridayz Happy Hourz at the Zoo
Beginning May 1, 2009, come to the zoo at 4:00 p.m. every Friday through September 25, 2009, and get $4.00 off your admission, good for each person in your party up to 20 people (cannot be combined with other admission discount coupons or offers).
Community Zoo Access Programs
Woodland Park Zoo annually provides 40,000 complimentary tickets to more than 300 King County social service organizations for individuals that may be limited in their ability to pay admission fees. These agencies serve homeless shelters, food banks, senior centers and homes, minority programs, disabled and mental health facilities, low-income youth centers and more. Check with an organization you are involved with for information.

Group
Discount
Groups
of 20 or more paying individuals are entitled to a 10% discount
providing one person pays for the entire group and the group enters
together through one entry at one time. It is not necessary to
make prior arrangements with the zoo unless the group wishes to
also reserve a picnic area.

Parking
$5.00 for Cars, $15.00 RVs and Buses. Pay-to-park kiosks are located at each zoo lot.
We encourage carpooling, transit and
other alternative methods when you visit the zoo.

The zoo's South Entrance is located at N. 50th and Fremont Ave. N. (750 N. 50th
St.)
The zoo's West Entrance is located at 5500 Phinney Ave.

Forest Food Pavilion
Woodland Park Zoo and its food services, provided by Lancer Hospitality, are
committed to offering a full-range of tasty, nutritious and affordable menu
options and sustainable programs including food waste composting and compostable
utensils.

Outside food for individual consumption is allowed, however no alcoholic
beverages or cooking/BBQ equipment, please.

ZooStore
at Woodland Park Zoo
The ZooStore can please every animal-lover in your troop with plush animal toys,
educational games, logo apparel, animal-themed jewelry, books and an astounding
array of unique, hand-crafted items created by craftspeople in countries from
Brazil to Nepal. And every purchase goes back to supporting the zoo's many conservation
and education programs and animal care right here at the zoo. The ZooStore is
open daily 9:30 a.m. to zoo closing. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days.

Pet
Policy/Restricted items/Lost & Found
Pets are NOT allowed on zoo grounds, except for service animals.
NO SMOKING is allowed on zoo grounds.
For the safety of our animals and visitors, please do not bring roller skates,
inline skates, Razor-type scooters, balloons, bicycles or Frisbees on zoo grounds.
Outside food is allowed.
